ABOUT

Whole Lotta Knots is an online emporium of beautifully designed Macrame wall hangings and unique home-wares sourced from near & far.
.
I'm Polly, the face behind the knots and owner of the home-grown studio here in Bath, England. I work closely with my local suppliers, curating a delectable collection of home-wares to inspire and impress. With a focus on the natural, my ethos is to bring the nature indoors using natural materials in soft colour palettes. Inspired by my one true love, world travel, my products range from African mud-cloth cushions and locally poured scented candles, to Balinese rattan lighting and locally arranged dried floristry.

Whole Lotta Knots
I first started to self-teach macrame when I lived in Australia in 2017. Between jobs, time was plentiful and gave me the headspace to indulge in creative ventures. Macrame wall hangings were very popular and went hand-in-hand with the beach lifestyle I had become obsessed with. When I relocated to the Sunshine Coast, my local market on Peregian Beach hosted a stunning stand dedicated to handcrafted macrame pieces that I was in complete awe of. So here I am, living what felt like just a dream way back when... Each of my wall hangings are hand-crafted by yours truly, completely unique using 100% organic recycled cotton.

Haus Life

Haus was born during a visit to the inimitable and buzzing city of Marrakech in Morocco. On a visit back in 2016, Katie found herself surrounded by the most exquisite homewares, textiles and jewellery, all of which she wanted to take back to furnish her new home. Haus was born with some simple but earnest aims; to bring together a truly lovely collection of items, sourced from around the world in one place, all at a fair price. I hope you love Haus as much as I do and come to think of it as a great place to see craftsmanship from across the world, all sold at a price that is fair to you and bought at a price which is fair to the artisan who made it.
